When it comes to making sure that your home and family are safe and sound, few things are as important as choosing the right insurance plan. About six months ago, my home burned to the ground, and without the right insurance plan, we would have been toast financially. Fortunately, because we had prepared properly, we didn't have any problems when it came to making sure that we could rebuild our place. This website is here to help anyone who might be struggling with which insurance policy to choose. Check out this blog for great information on finding the perfect policy.

Semi trucks are vehicles, too. Really, really big vehicles, but they are vehicles nonetheless. As such, you need to insure them. You also need to insure your trucks to the hilt, or you will lose them. Here is what the scenario would look like if you decided not to insure your trucks.
One of Your Drivers Jackknifes a Truck and Ten Other Drivers Are Hit
It is an accident, but it is still deadly. Even though none of your drivers ever wants this to happen, and definitely never wants any harm to come to other drivers on the road, it will happen at least once in all the years you are in business. When it does happen, your driver will call you, the boss, looking for semi truck insurance information to exchange with every last passenger and driver that was injured in the accident and is still conscious enough to ask for insurance information. If you do not have that information because you do not have insurance on the truck, the driver is left in the lurch with nothing to tell the injured. Instead, he/she has to "plead the fifth," and claim his/her right to not say anything without a lawyer present.
The Driver Cannot Say Anything to the Police Either
Now your driver is really in an awkward position because he/she cannot say anything to the police about a lack of insurance, either. He/she can only tell the officers on the scene that he/she is only allowed to speak to the company lawyer and that those people who have been injured will have to speak to the company lawyer, as well. The police will file their report, notating that the truck driver was uncooperative and that the report is filed minus any insurance details the truck driver has "withheld."
The Other Injured Drivers Will Begin Filing Lawsuits
When some of the injured drivers figure out that you did not insure your trucks, they will begin filing lawsuits. They may file lawsuits against your driver, against you, and against your business. If they have lawyers that can successfully argue their cases for compensation, you could lose a lot of money, some of your trucks, and maybe even your business (if the amount of compensation awarded exceeds all of your assets combined). Now just imagine being able to avoid all of the above. You can, if you insure all of your semi trucks.
